The Annie Porter Ainsworth Memorial Library (APAML) believes that staff development is an intricate part of on-going training and team improvement curriculum. The majority of these programs are fully paid for by the APAML, but it is always at the discretion of the Board and prior approval is required by completing and submitting a continuing education approval form for programs incurring more than mileage cost to the Board President at least one month in advance.  Individual development may be reimbursed upon prior approval.

The Library shall reimburse mileage at the prevailing recommended federal level. To be reimbursed, a mileage reimbursement claim form must be completed and submitted to the Library Board of Trustees for approval. For mileage reimbursements, mileage round-trip will be paid from the APAML to staff development destination.
